Smith & Wesson has announced that they will be releasing the Smith & Wesson Shield in 45 ACP. It has a very similar look and feel to the M&P Shield chambered in 9mm and 40S&W with a more aggressive grip texture and front cocking serrations. It will also be available with or without a thumb safety. Below are some specifications:

  • Overall Length – 6.45″ 
  • Sights – Steel white dot
  • Weight – 20.5 oz 
  • Action – Striker Fire
  • Caliber – 45acp
  • Frame – Polymer
  • Slide – Stainless Steel – Armornite Finish
  • Barrel – Stainless Steel – Armornite Finish
  • Finish – Black
